Awesome Lot of Jumbo Medium Blue to Yellow Green Aquamarine Rough from Mozambique. The bulk of this is Cabbing Grade and the lot is being sold as Cabbing Rough; however, there are a few stones in the parcel that may support faceting though it is unlikely. The lot really is a mix of the whole spectrum that Aquamarine is found in as far as color goes along with a piece or two that would probably more rightly be called Heliodor. Quite a few of these are crystals and some of these would be great for metaphysical use. This is NOT small material averaging in at 27 CARATS! This was a miscellaneous lot we picked up on our recent trip and are just liquidating it to make room for incoming rough shipments lined up for the next few months. We are blowing this out at $.20 per Carat!!! How can you go wrong at $.20 Per CARAT???

1. Aquamarine mining in Mozambique has been extremely limited as most miners have migrated over to Mavuco in search of Paraiba Tourmaline. Most of the mining activity in Mozambique has shifted over to Mavuco as Paraiba prices continue to climb. We don't know how long it will be before we see a steady supply of Aquamarine coming from Mozambique again; however, the prices don't seem to want to come down.
