Lot of mostly Pale to Minty Green "Emerald" from Nigeria. This material is NOT Chromium colored; however, it has the distinct color zoning typically seen in Emerald. This material is referred to as Emerald in Nigeria and that is what it was sent to us as; however, we would call it Pastel Green Beryl due to the dept of color in the rough. The lot overall is a steal at our price and that is due to the great price we got on it as a sample. We would say that roughly 99%+ of this lot is top facet grade as this is all select rough and every stone in here should produce Eye-clean to FLAWLESS finished gems.

This is the only parcel of this material we have on hand and it was sent to us as a sample. It was discounted due to its sample status and we are selling it likewise. We have seen similar material to this sell for $10.00+ per carat and I don't think there is any way you can go wrong picking this up.

1. Nigeria is known to produce "Emerald" though designating the material Emerald has been hotly debated. Most of the Nigerian material tends to be a light Minty Green color and the material is commonly referred to as Chrome Beryl in the US.
