DESCRIPTION:

Lot of Minty Green to an almost Medium Dark Emerald Green Emerald/Chrome Beryl? from Nigeria. We unfortunately don't have a Chelsea Filter readily available; however, we are confident that this material is chromium colored. Some of the stones in here are the darkest Green colored material we have seen coming from Nigeria in quite some time. Since we don't have the equipment necessary to confirm this we can't guarantee it is Chromium colored. This material is referred to as Emerald in Nigeria and that is what it was sent to us as. There are a few stones in here we would probably more rightly label Chrome Beryl; however, a few stones probably can rightly be called Emerald. The lot overall is a steal at our price and that is due to the great price we got on it as a sample. This is by NO means CLEAN material with most stones looking slightly to moderately included; however, the color on this material is some of the best we have seen and looks considerably better than the above pictures indicate. We would say that roughly 50% of this lot is some type of facet grade with most stones able to produce slightly included at best but more likely moderately included finished gems.

This is the only parcel of this material we have and it was sent to us as a sample. It was discounted due to its sample status and we are selling it likewise. This is another lot that would be a great Ebay money maker for those interested in reselling this broken up.

COOL FACTS:
  1. Nigeria is known to produce "Emerald" though designating the material Emerald has been hotly debated. Most of the Nigerian material tends to be a light Minty Green color and the material is commonly referred to as Chrome Beryl in the US.
