DESCRIPTION:

Nice lot of Crimson Red to Orangey Red Garnet Crystals and Crystal Sections from Northern Pakistan. This material was sent to us as Garnet and it looks to be a mixture of Hessonite and Spessartite from a quick run through the crystal structure. There really is no Faceting potential in the lot as it is mostly specimen and cab grade. There are some small gemmy areas in some stones but cobbing or sawing those sections out would result in unjustifiable waste. This parcel is an odd lot we received and we are liquidating it at close to cost. We don't anticipate on getting more of this material in the future so if you are interested in this grab it before it is gone!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Kashmirine is highly sought after by collectors. The initial find in Kashmir looked very promising; however, after a few months of mining most of the material dried up and it is rarely seen in the market.
