DESCRIPTION:

This is something fairly new we are starting here folks. This is a select rough mix of 4 different gemstones that run from an Apple Green to an Electric Purple in color. The parcel consists of Afghan Tourmaline, Brazilian Spessartite, Pakistani Peridot and Tanzanian Tanzanite! Most of these should cut Eye-clean or better with a little hard work as the lot is composed of select rough. Some stones do have minor inclusions but these are almost totally confined to the periphery of the rough and should facet out with normal faceting with rare exception.

Overall the lot is composed of vibrant electric colors that are clearly visible in the above pictures. Everything in here is pretty straightforward faceting! I think it is pretty easy to estimate the weight relationship of stones considering that the Tanzanites are the smallest and the Spessartite is the largest. This is not huge material and a test to see how much attention the "mix" gets. We are looking forward to hearing back from you to see if this is something we should continue (possibly in larger sizes). Please feel free to email us with possible mixes you would like to see made available along with price ranges that are acceptable and we'll see what we can put together in the future.

COOL FACTS:
  1. Pakistani Peridot has climbed the charts to become known as the best and is for  Peridot what Kashmir is for Sapphire! There really is no other Peridot that compares with the Pakistani material as far as color and quality go on a consistent basis and as stones get larger there is no competition!

  2. The Pakistani Peridot mines are located at an altitude of roughly 15,000-16,000 feet and are roughly a 6 hour trek over several mountains on mule & foot (This is for a 1/2 way experienced climber and it will take considerably longer for a novice)! The Supatt area is known to have some of the world's most breathtaking sites and you can see some of these in our picture galleries.
