DESCRIPTION:

We have been waiting for over 6 months to procure a decent parcel of Pakistani Peridot and FINALLY, our patience has paid off! The Peridot mines in Pakistan are drying out fast and we don't see much material coming out after 2 years or so! This is an awesome lot of bright vibrant Apple Green Peridot faceting rough from Supatt, Pakistan. Most stones in this lot should cut eye-clean to slightly included with a little hard work. We estimate that roughly 75%+ of this lot is HIGH to TOP grade facet rough. Please note that some of these stones do have small inclusions and the white lily-pad veiling common to Pakistani Peridot; however, I'm confident with a little hard work and some grinding you should be able to produce some spectacular gemstones from this parcel.

Most of the pieces in this lot are uniform in color consisting of the Apple Green that Pakistan is known for without the Olive overtones. There are some lovely stones in here and the lot is well worth the price! There is only a limited amount of high caliber material produced now and prices have almost doubled over last year!!! We are extremely lucky to be able to provide this material at this price! Don't miss picking up this parcel as we are confident you will regret it!!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Pakistani Peridot has climbed the charts to become known as the best and is for  Peridot what Kashmir is for Sapphire! There really is no other Peridot that compares with the Pakistani material as far as color and quality go on a consistent basis and as stones get larger there is no competition!

  2. The Pakistani Peridot mines are located at an altitude of roughly 15,000-16,000 feet and are roughly a 6 hour trek over several mountains on mule & foot (This is for a 1/2 way experienced climber and it will take considerably longer for a novice)! The Supatt area is known to have some of the world's most breathtaking sites and you can see some of these in our picture galleries.
