Awesome lot of Silver "Herkimer" Quartz coming from Balochistan, Pakistan. This is being referred to as "Diamond Quartz" in the local markets in Pakistan. The material is extremely similar to Herkimer Quartz from New York with razor sharp termination and excellent luster! The bulk of these are doubly terminated single crystals. A few of these stones have liquid inclusions; however, this material was selected from several hundred kilos specifically for clarity and termination and NOT the inclusions! We have listed several lots of this material broken down by average size and/or size range. This material is averaging in the .40 carat range and is largely composed of the smaller material that was selected.

There is a very limited amount of this in the markets in Pakistan as the deposits are almost dry and the price has been jumping regularly. This material really shouldn't be faceted as it is a hot collectors item; however, that is something you will have to decide. Personally, I think these would be ideal for a creative Jewelry project or even as an accessory to an exotic fish tank! For the labor that went into taking these out I'm pretty sure it was a lose lose situation for us and this is probably not something we plan on repeating if we have to undergo the work again so don't miss out on this great addition to the collection!
