This is nice bright Pink Morganite crystal with just a hint of a Peachy overtone from northern Afghanistan. It is beautifully terminated with some great surface striation visible on certain facets and excellent luster. The edges are nice and sharp and there are traces of the matrix on the base and rear of the crystal indicating that this was not broken when removed. There is what appears to be some of the original matrix attached to the top with some very tiny Tourmaline crystals. This is a great crystal with very transparent sections and a nice addition for any collection. This specimen has not been cleaned and cleaning may enhance it further.
