Awesome NEW discovery of Spessartite Garnet coming from Gilgit, Pakistan. This is very vibrant material that runs from a lovely Cranberry Red to an almost Crimson Ruby Red. Overall this material is mostly suitable for accent stones and commercial cutting; however, the rough would also be great for some jewelry projects. There may be some pieces that warrant custom cutting in this lot but there are no Guarantees. This lot is heavily discounted because the owner was unaware it was Spessartite. We haven't spent too much time reviewing the material because of the size; however, after a quick overall look we are estimating that it is at least 20% High Facet Grade.
