DESCRIPTION:

This is a Ghani SPECIAL! We have listed several lots up on our site that are the property of Mr. Hazrat Ghani. Hazrat Ghani has been supplying some of the largest Tourmaline dealers in the world with their rough from Afghanistan for a very long time and he is known out here in Pakistan as one of the Tourmaline Kingpins.

This is an awesome lot of NATURAL bright Pale Pink to Dark Peachy Pink Morganite from Afghanistan.  This lot has two exceptional pieces that make up the bulk of this lot for weight and are worth the value of the lot in their own right several times over. I would say most of this material is a cross that lies somewhere between Medium and Dark Peachy Pink. There are 1 or 2 pieces in here that look more like they are Goshenite; however, the lot as a whole is distinctly Peachy Pink. We would conservatively say that 75%+ of this material is TOP grade facet rough.

The bulk of this material should support eye-clean or better stones with a little effort and even the included stones in this lot have very gemmy areas capable of producing eye-clean to very slightly included finished stones for the most part. Please note that these are not small pieces and the average weight here is almost 180 carats!! Afghan Morganite is a rare find these days and it is almost always very pale. Take a look around the net and you will see how unbelievable our price on this material really is! The price Ghani gave us on this makes it a give-away as we have NEVER seen this price on Morganite in our years of experience in Pakistan in this quality and we are confident the purchaser of this lot will be floored when he gets this parcel! Please note that the largest piece in here serves both as Facet rough and/or a KILLER specimen as it is practically fully terminated with super luster and razor sharp edges! We don't think we'll ever get Afghan Morganite that is this caliber at this price again so don't miss this investment opportunity.

COOL FACTS:
  1. In Afghanistan Morganite is almost always classified by crystal structure and not so much by color. This is why you will occasionally see some light Aqua colored stones in Afghan Morganite lots.

  2. There is only a limited amount of Afghan Morganite produced every year and annual production has been steadily decreasing.
