Awesome Lot of TOP TOP Hot Pink to slightly Purplish Pink Rubelite Tourmaline Faceting Rough crystal and crystal section. Our partner's younger brother (Just getting into the gem selling business) purchased this material in the local market and was advised that it was probably of foreign origin from the seller. We unfortunately don't know the exact location it is from but it is some of the prettiest Pink material we have seen in a very long time. Please note that this is select rough and both stones should easily cut Eye-Clean or Better with little effort.  These are NOT small pieces and regardless of where this is from it is difficult to get this color in the marketplace.

These stones are nicely shaped for high weight returns and this material is indicative of some of the best Pink stuff you see and retails for $15.00+ per carat. This is all we have of this lot and we have priced it to sell!

1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color & quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
