This was purchased at a buy-out we did in North Carolina of OLD STOCK Facet Rough some time back. The material was so old overall that we had to remove cob-webs on much of it before reviewing it. Due to the nature of the buy-out we are unfortunately NOT certain of the origin of this material. Our gut feeling was Tanzania as much of the material in the buy-out was of Tanzanian origin.

This stone is NOT clean and it is being sold as Cabbing Rough; however, it has very gemmy areas. If you were to divide this you could facet several nice stones; however, I think it is best preserved for a nice large cab. The color on this truly is hypnotic - sad to say it is not clean. This was the only stone of this we acquired and can offer.
