DESCRIPTION:

Awesome lot of Afghan Tourmaline containing practically every color of the spectrum. This lot is really indicative of the best Afghanistan has to offer in Tourmaline color! This is TOP cabbing grade material having all the excessively included stones picked out and there are quite a few killer pieces in here. There is some lovely faceting material as well that is very slightly included with a few stones that may produce eye-clean finished gems. Several stones in here are large  and chunky with amazing Neon & Turquoise colors.

Most of the material in here is very slightly included to slightly included; however, many of the inclusions should mask up well with cabbing. Most of these pieces are nice and chunky crystal sections capable of giving above average yield. Several of the stones are also beautiful crystals with sharp termination at at least one end!! We got this lot at a steal and are passing on the savings to you! This is one of the best lots we have up for the price. Don't miss the opportunity to pick this up. This lot is being sold as strictly cabbing grade and is priced as such; however,  It is one of the best bargains we have up!

COOL FACTS:
  1. Afghan Tourmaline pockets tend to be relatively small in size and as a result consistency in color& quality is a rarity! We have never seen Afghan Tourmaline sold by the kilo with like colored and quality material and lots are generally small in size seldom going over 1/2-1 kilo.

  2. All Afghan Tourmaline is exhumed from primary deposits and as a result mining costs are considerably higher due to dynamite expenditures and traveling expenditures to get to remote mining areas. It is also interesting to note that since all Afghan Tourmaline is from primary deposits most rough will usually have sharp crystal faces.
